| About
Bisbee |
| Bisbee, Arizona is located in the Mule
Mountains of southeastern Arizona approximately 100 miles south of Tucson
and eight miles north of Old Mexico. Once a booming Phelps Dodge mining
town, Bisbee has changed from "company town" to "quirky
town". Both retired miners and new culture, hippie/arts people call
Bisbee home. Its historic brick buildings now hold galleries, antique
shops, bookstores, and coffeehouses. The climate is consistently 10
degrees cooler than Tucson. In 2002, Money Magazine declared Bisbee one of
the 10 best vacation cities due to its climate and accessibility to
numerous Arizona attractions. |
